Allegro Playacar Hotel Playa del Carmen

The huts were so cozy and well, maintained, with a rustic charm that made me feel right at home. the activity staff were energetic and kept us entertained with various activities throughout the day. I especially loved the foam party on Saturdays, it was such a fun and unique experience. the swim, up pool bar had friendly and attentive bartenders, and the margaritas were the best I've ever tasted. the bellboy staff were always friendly and made us feel welcome. the food at the buffet was delicious, especially during the themed nights. the rooms were comfortable and had hot water for our showers. the spa offered excellent couple's massages that were truly relaxing.

The night entertainment started quite late, which was a bit inconvenient for us as we prefer earlier shows. It would have been nice if they advertised specific shows like they did in the past.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in Playa del Carmen and had a fantastic experience. The location of this place is perfect, with everything within a short walk on the beach. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, from the friendly and attentive waiters and bar staff to the efficient housekeeping team. I was impressed with the range of amenities available, including car hire, shops, and laundry services. The room was well-appointed and had all the necessary comforts, such as air conditioning and a mini-bar. The hotel also offers a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. the level of service and quality of facilities made my stay here truly enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The resort had great views from the pool bar and the beach chairs were always available. the service at the restaurants and bars was excellent and the food was good, especially at the a la carte restaurants. the resort was conveniently located near a shopping area and was a short distance from other attractions.

The rooms were a bit small and lacked storage space, with no dressers and limited shelves. There were some issues with the air conditioning unit being loud and not working properly.

Great staff, excellent service, delicious drinks, entertaining shows, comfortable rooms with a nice bed. Enjoyed the energetic animation team and the spacious pool and beach areas. Convenient location near downtown for a fun night out.

The hotel is wonderfully close to the beach with great views of the water - just gorgeous. It is also conveniently located right by the beach and next to the dive shop. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast options are tasty and varied. Some of the facilities include a pool bar and a buffet with flavorful food.

One negative aspect is the pushy vacation club salespeople who followed guests everywhere on the complex.

During my stay at this venue, I was impressed by how everything was within a short walk on the beach. The location itself felt safe and secure, which helped me enjoy my stay even more. Also, the staff here gave me the best service all week long, from the waiters and bar staff to management and front desk. On top of that, the leisure facilities, including the spa and wellness centre, swimming pool, and beach access, were fantastic.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort was a perfect place to stay at. Well recommended for all types of travelers - children, singles, and couples. The food was awesome, facilities and staff were perfect. The beach was beautiful, and Nestor the Bartender was fantastic, always with a smile and great service. Super clean and the buffet had a lot of options. All inclusive truly meant all inclusive.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with spacious beds and modern bathrooms. The service is excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. The buffet breakfast offers a variety of options to suit different tastes. The resort also has a pool, beach area, and nightly entertainment.

The quality of the food could be improved.
